AS9100D

Is the quality management standard specifically written for the military and aerospace electronic market. It is intended for use by organizations that design, develop, and produce aviation, space and defence products

ASD S1000D

This specification is becoming the de facto standard for technical publication work within the Defence and Aerospace industries. It has its origins in Europe but now it has become international in nature with a number of countries taking part in its future development (and maintenance). With this enlargement in both scope and the international aspect, the specification is now also very suitable for work within the Civilian engineering industries.

ATA iSpec 2200

Global aviation industry is a standard for the content, structure, and electronic exchange of aircraft engineering, maintenance, and flight operations information. It comprises a suite of data specifications related to maintenance requirements and procedures, aircraft configuration control, and flight operations. The specification is controlled by the Airlines for America (A4A), formerly known as Air Transport Association of America (ATA) and has been the standard to which the majority of Civilian Aircraft publications comply. The objective of iSpec 2200 is to minimize cost and effort expended by operators and manufacturers, improve information quality and timeliness, and facilitate manufacturers' delivery of data that meets airline operational needs.

ASD STE100

ASD Simplified Technical English STE100 is an International specification for the preparation of maintenance documentation in a controlled language. The international language of the aerospace industry is English, and English is the language most used for writing technical documentation. However, it is often not the native language of the readers of such documentation. Many readers have knowledge of English that is limited, and are easily confused by complex sentence structures and by the number of meanings and synonyms which English words can have.
